Policy research involves analyzing and evaluating existing policies or proposing new ones to address societal issues. It includes data collection, analysis, and the development of recommendations to guide decision-makers in government, organizations, or other relevant entities.

In the last 15+ years, Dr. Nyuykonge has contributed to a number of new and old policies in the United Nations circles, amongst the Multilateral Development Banks, the African Union and Regional Economic bodies in Africa and Asia. His works and reports are well cited amongst others by USAID and SIDA; and have been the anchor upon which new projects and financing has been hinged.

Critical in policy research is the maturity to provide sound data-backed, evidence-based analysis with clear and operational recommendations which take into account work which has preceded, it’s challenges and offers new path with the right inoffensive language.
